Randy Gabrielson joined Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank in 1986 after graduating from the University of Southern California. He is a Partner of the firm and manages the Palo Alto office.
In 2008, Mr. Gabrielson had the honor of being inducted into The Association of Silicon Valley Brokers (ASVB) Hall of Fame, and followed it with being named “Office Broker of the Year” by the ASVB in 2009. He was also named the 2010 “Commercial Broker of the Year” by The San Jose Business Journal and is a finalist for Office Broker of the Year by the ASVB in 2011.
Mr. Gabrielson has specialized in Landlord and Tenant representation along the Mid-Peninsula. He has completed over 1,000 transactions in excess of 12.2 million square feet, totaling more than $2.7 billion dollars in consideration. Mr. Gabrielson has been involved with some of the largest sale and lease transactions along the Peninsula, including the sale of Menlo Oaks Corporate Center (374,000 square feet); Mission Towers I & II (566,000 square feet); the corporate headquarter buildings for Rambus Inc.; PMC Sierra; The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and The David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
Being based in the Palo Alto office, Mr. Gabrielson has a commanding knowledge of the Peninsula commercial real estate market. He currently represents major landlords such as Equity Office Properties, Shorenstein Properties; Legacy Partners; Tishman Speyer; Boston Properties; USSA Real Estate; Menlo Equities; DivcoWest; Walton Street Capital; Arden/GE and Stanford University.
Mr. Gabrielson represents UBS Financial; Rambus Inc.; PMC-Sierra; The David and Lucile Packard Foundation; The Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation; US Venture Partners; The Andy & Eva Grove Foundation; Summit Partners; Trinity Ventures and Tallwood Ventures.
A graduate of the University of Southern California Mr. Gabrielson received a Bachelor of Science.
Mr. Gabrielson is married and resides with his wife and three children in Portola Valley, California.
