“Knowledge” – hard to obtain without hard work.
Those two words have been the foundation of Cornish & Carey Commercial’s philosophy since inception. From our early days to now, we have always believed that clients always come first. Because of this foundation, the company grew by forging lasting relationships that resulted in repeat business and referrals. Early on, company founders and subsequent owners and managers realized that good brokerage is a reflection of its people and their relationships.
Today, as Cornish & Carey Commercial enters a new era with its partnership and integration into Newmark Knight Frank, the core values are still the same words - “Integrity and Knowledge”. These values and the unbreakable entrepreneurial spirit are the foundation of how we conduct business and they shall endure.
We have always had a sense of belonging and being part of a bigger family. We have shunned operating like a big, top-down corporation with layers of access to decision makers and instead, focused on creating a work environment that was collaborative and collegial – a place we enjoyed coming to work. The approach has succeeded, judging by the loyalty and tenure of our professionals, staff and fortunately, so many of our clients.
While there are always ups and downs in this business, the future is bright, and the family is strong. We look forward to many more years of fun and success.
